The "Old School" Scout training centre of Weser-Ems is in north-west Germany, near the North Sea. The small village of Bockhorn is situated between the larger towns of Oldenburg and Wilhelmshaven.

The nearby "Jadebusen" (North Sea) moorland, heath areas and virgin forests many centuries old, as well as the typical region of fenland and sandy uplands, are characteristic of Bockhorn.

The training centre has been established in a former school. A team takes care of visitors and helps with the planning of activities and excursions.

For people travelling alone, bedrooms are available. The local Bockhorn Scout troop meets at the centre.
